The sedative effects of alcohol are outweighed by the degradation of sleep quality.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Don\u2019t use electronic devices at least half an hour before bedtime<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Electronic gadgets (including your cell phone) used in the hour leading up to bedtime have been shown to increase mental activity, making it more difficult to go to and maintain sleep.
